Corsi of Vahanian & Associates Attends Sustainable Investing Conference in D.C.

Cameron V. Corsi, Director of Business Development and Investment Research at Vahanian & Associates Financial Planning Inc., attended a sustainable investing due-diligence conference hosted by Calvert in D.C. on May 15-16, 2019. The investment roundtable conference brought financial advisors from the New York and New England area together to discuss today’s responsible investing themes and how traditional sustainable investing has recently evolved to a more inclusive style known as Environmental, Social and Governance “ESG” Investing. The roundtable was moderated by Calvert’s President and CEO with presentations from Calvert’s Director of ESG as well as Portfolio Managers and investment analysts.

Much of the conference focused was on subjects related to client values and beliefs and how ESG integration strives to support such unique criteria while adhering to the pursuit of tailored investment goals. The conference provided invaluable educational content on market themes, sustainability and portfolio risk management. Corsi is leading the Vahanian team’s efforts to develop an ESG platform for clients concerned with such issues.
