Vahanian Leads Zoom Discussion on Financial Literacy & Management
On September 8th, Jeffrey C. Vahanian, CFP® had the pleasure of leading a Zoom discussion on financial literacy and financial management with 39 participants from ARC and The Kinship Project. These individuals are working to support the successful re-entry into society of the formerly incarcerated.
Jeffrey commented that while “Listening to their questions and concerns, I was struck by how vulnerable, and willing they were to listen and learn. Quickly I found myself settling into a conversation with individuals I never would have encountered, were it not for the invitation to speak with them.”
Vahanian further reflected upon his time with these folks by saying “I am very grateful to have played a small role in helping these men and women find their way back into their communities and to continue their lives in a positive way. Now, in the time of Covid-19 with so much disruption, there are so many people who need and would benefit from our support. It’s important that we all help one another out and seek opportunities to serve, inspire and positively engage with everybody that is part of our society.”
