Bonnie M. Boyce, MBA, CFP ®Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

    FUN FACT ABOUT ME: My obsession with blue cars started with my love for the baby blue ‘66 Ford Mustang that my grandfather left me when I was 16.  Part of me wishes that I still had that classic car, but I know I would miss my GPS, heated seats and backup camera too much!

    Bonnie is the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Vahanian & Associates, where Bonnie spearheads regulatory compliance related issues, utilization of leading edge technology and manages operations of the practice.

    As a key source of information for staff members in the financial planning process, Bonnie supervises ongoing firm services. Bonnie regularly communicates with clients and other professionals, such as accountants, attorneys and human resources personnel, coordinating a group effort on behalf of our clients. Bonnie also oversees taxable events, recordkeeping and outgoing communication.

    Bonnie has been a valued presence at Vahanian & Associates since 1992 and has been working in the financial services industry since 1985. Her licensing and certifications include:

    • Series 7 and 63 registrations
    • General Securities Principal (Series 24)
    • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner
    • Life and Accident & Health Insurance Licenses with the State of New York


    She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the State University of New
    York at Albany and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and French from Syracuse University, and is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association of Northeastern New York.

    Bonnie joined the Royal Alliance Administrative Advisory Panel in 2000, a board of peers from across the country that collaborate in establishing best industry practices to continuously advance the quality of services provided to clients and their families. Among her peers, Bonnie is known for her ability to efficiently and effectively problem solve and deliver quality results. Often times, Bonnie receives calls from peer offices, inquiring about how our office has implemented various compliance processes and documentation procedures that she has refined over the years.

    Prior to joining Vahanian & Associates, Bonnie was employed in various capacities by First Albany Corporation, a regional brokerage firm where she gained valuable knowledge in many aspects of the investment industry by working in such areas as Research, Corporate Finance, IPO Syndication and Trading.

    Bonnie is married and lives in her hometown of Saratoga Springs with her husband Glenn, and their two boys, Matthew and Spencer who are both actors and singers. Bonnie is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Saratoga Children’s Theatre. In her free time, Bonnie enjoys photography and scrapbooking her family’s adventures.
